As a children’s author, I created Turtleshell Bookshop from my love of storytelling and my belief that books can shape how children see themselves, others, and the world around them. I wanted to create stories filled with diverse characters, meaningful adventures, and gentle life lessons that children can carry with them long after the final page.
Our books encourage young readers to embrace what makes them unique, discover their individual gifts, treat others with kindness, and care for animals, nature, and their communities. Whether a child is exploring the ocean with Lena and Reef, learning to appreciate the beauty of their skin with Sweet Like Chocolate Syrup, or discovering that being different can become their greatest strength with Reef the Jellyfish Who Couldn’t Sting, each story is created with purpose and heart.
